Carl Perry is a professional photographer and music journalist based in Santa Barbara CA. Formally trained at Brooks Institute, Carl has been working at the professional level since 2014. His commercial work for the travel and restaurant industries has been seen published in 805 Living, US Airways Magazine, Hope Ranch Magazine, Food and Home Magazine, Santa Barbara Magazine, as well as numerous online publications. In 2020, Carl moved away from commercial work and focused his efforts on the music industry. He became a frequent contributor for the Independent and Top Shelf Music, and quickly became the press photographer for the Santa Barbara Bowl and other major venues around Santa Barbara County. His work in this industry more recently has grabbed the attention of Spotify, where he currently has an account photographing with various high-level artists in their LA studio.
