UFW March to Sacramento

On August 26th, United Farm Workers supporters who have marched for twenty days, over 340 miles, in triple digit temperatures with blister ridden feet, will finally descend upon the California State Capitol. A rally will be held with thousands of supporters from across the state demanding that @gavinnewsom #signthebill #2183 which would give farm workers the right to vote from home to form a union. This in turn improves working conditions and recognizes farm workers humanity. Join the movement and follow @ufwupdates to volunteer or donate. On a personal note, I decided to drive from Ventura, CA and attend the UFW rally in Merced, CA on August 15th to film this content in solidarity with their cause. As some of you may know, I am a member of @IATSE Local 442 and am sympathetic to the issue of at home voting for similar reasons which are consequential within my own union. I also believe it is of utmost importance that regular working class people demand higher wages, especially in an economy where all other prices are rising other than our income. You might expect a phone call from me in the coming days asking for a donation to the UFW and that you contact the Governor’s office and demand this bill is signed. Thank you and stay strong!
